A Bit About Myself

I value family, and being respectful of all people from all backgrounds, and all ages.

I value our natural world and wildlife as I find that nature has provided me with solutions. I value contributing to the community. I carry out this value through volunteering at a Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre in Manitoba Canada. I value learning from my past, present and future self and investing in myself for health and continuous growth. I love holistic health and taking care of my body, mind and spirit and I do activities that strengthen all these areas.

I love elephants! I think of elephants as clearers of obstacles. They do this physically in the world by clearing paths, making way for light to shine on the path for plants to grow.

They also have an amazing memory and pass on their ancestral knowledge from generation to generation. This knowledge is vital for their survival and the survival of other species. I also love elephants because they walk at the pace of the slowest member. There is no need to leave anyone behind.

My Beliefs

I am spiritual and have a spiritual approach to life and to coaching. I believe in the universal energies, karma and “the force!”. Yes, I love Star Wars.

I believe all beings have a purpose for being in this physical world.

I believe in ancient forms of healing including Indigenous healing from many cultures.

I believe the earth is a playground for spirit.

I believe that every person is complete, resourceful and whole. You have the answers within.

I believe that challenges lead to our strengths.

What I have Overcome

This impacts who I am today:

Where I am today

  • I lead a relatively low stress life. Friends describe me as calm, a good listener, and well balanced
  • When I want a change to happen, I invest in myself and my own growth and learning.  Change comes with stress so I use a coach to get support.
  • I utilize many modalities to get healthy layers of support.
  • Lifecoaching has made a huge impact: reinforcing healthy habits, managing perfectionism, imposter syndrome, and solidifying my sense of purpose to just to name a few!
  • Expanded knowledge to help myself and others. Some of the key areas:
    → Energy work and Reiki
    → Cultural Indigenous Healing. I have an Spirit name which translates to First Light Woman and I recognize the power of spiritual healing. I also respect and have faith in non-westernized approaches.
    → Yoga Teacher Training
    → Life coaching! A culmination of my experiences so far!

  • Reiki Master and Teacher
  • 200 Hour Certified Yoga Instructor

Lifecoaching is a positive present focused way to move forward. It is goal oriented and solution oriented and I love this! Each person getting respect and recognition for their own solutions, that are inside themselves. A lifecoach is a guide that brings these out. I bring this out by:

Using a holistic spiritual approach grounded in positive psychology, and a growth mindset

Including wellness modalities such as breathwork, energy work, visualizations, discovery of personal affirmations, and healthy habits that suite you.

Progressing through increased awareness, balanced reflection and consistent action that leads to competence mastery. In these categories we also use a C.L.E.A.R method of goal setting, listening and learning, exploring options, acting and reflecting (Peter Hawkins)
